  1. Check your voter registration. If you aren’t registered to vote, register!

Important Reminders:

  • Photo ID Required: Bring an approved photo ID to vote. Scan the QR code or visit youcanvote.org/voterid for details. Approved IDs include student IDs from all UNC system schools and many NC colleges. Learn more at youcanvote.org/voterid. 

  • Voter Registration Deadline: October 11, 2024, to vote on Election Day (November 5, 2024). NCDMV customers can register online. Learn how at youcanvote.org/register.

  • Early Voting: October 17-November 2, 2024. Vote at any Early Voting location in your county. Same-day registration is available during Early Voting. Learn more at youcanvote.org/earlyvoting.

  • Election Day: Tuesday, November 5, 2024. You must be registered and vote at your assigned polling place. Find your polling location at youcanvote.org/lookup.
